Our cooking
After
9 seasons in the centre of Mouries, ‘Le Vieux Four’
relocated to the exit of the village. This change
has had no effect on our way of working.
Quite the
contrary, as this new location allows us to better
welcome you whilst still keeping up our demands
for quality and authenticity.
We
strive to select fresh produce, the majority being
locally produced, certified and in season. We
offer you a cuisine typical of Provence, a land
of fertile fusion and intermingling.
A
cuisine from the earth, where spices and flavours
encountered on ones travels are combined and mixed
together.
A
simple and refined cuisine which puts the product
first: local fruit and vegetables, organic where
possible, bull meat from Camargue, lamb from Provence,
goats cheese from Alpilles, olive oil and honey
from the village.
With
regard to wine, we have also directed our selections
towards locally-produced wines: AOC des Baux de
Provence, Vins de Pays des Alpilles, Côtes
de Provence, Côtes du Rhône,…
A
CUISINE ELABORATED BY ENTHUSIASTS, ENSURING THAT
EACH DISH IS A PLEASURE FOR BOTH THE EYES AND THE
PALATE.
