And now... A table !


A story of a passion !

By entering at home, you will be struck at once by the impressive oven in old stones of Fontvieille who thrones in the middle of the house. And yes, it is that formerly people who live in the village came to meet themselves to cook their daily breads there.

Then, of municipal oven this place simply became a bakery of where Jonin, one of the village elders, still remembers the smell of the good bread which escaped there.

Then one day the bakery is sold.

A grocer installed. it condemned the oven a thick partition because it had no utility of it. The oven then was forgot during numerous years.

 

A beautiful day, certain Adrien, good cook, came to Mouriès to install a restaurant there. By beginning some works of renovation, luckily, the oven saw again the day and the quite naturally baptized restaurant " The Old Oven ".

In our arrival, it was necessary to us to appeal to a true mason of the old school to make to it a beauty and put back it in service.

And so every evening, for five years now, my cook of husband does not miss to light the fire of this hundred-years-old hearth which is the soul of our house.
